The concept for this site is to be more conscious and deliberate about my learning and to share some little parts of that with others. They say that the best way to learn something is to teach it and this may be one step in that direction.
For those that want to learn some more about me, I am a self confessed geek with a penchant for most things technological. I grew up building my own computers and turned that into a nearly 20 year career in IT. The last 10 years have been working in the field of physical security systems and security risk management services. The industry feeds my knowledge addiction with the speed of technological innovation, but it is the people that keep me coming back for more.
Lest you think that I am only a tech guy, I have found the challenges and learning opportunities in the world of management to be fascinating. People, communication, expectations, and perceptions are an amazing world with potential lessons around every corner especially when viewed through the lens of organizational behavior research or behavior analysis.
